KUROSAWA Nigori

Minami-Saku, Nagano Prefecture, Japan

Soft, smooth, and lightly sweet, Kurosawa Nigori offers a fresh interpretation of the traditional cloudy sake style. Rather than leaving unfiltered rice solids in the brew, its signature creaminess comes from blending premium Junmai sake with Amazake, a naturally sweet, low-alcohol rice beverage. The result is a refined nigori with a velvety mouthfeel and gentle sweetness—balanced, elegant, and beautifully drinkable.

Pouring a marble-white hue, Kurosawa Nigori reveals aromas of honey, macadamia nut, and tropical fruit. The palate is creamy yet refreshing, showing notes of pear, citrus, and soft umami, leading to a smooth, lightly zesty finish. With an approachable 8% ABV, it’s ideal for new sake drinkers, as well as those seeking a lighter, dessert-style sake with structure and balance.

This sake pairs wonderfully with spicy dishes such as Thai curry, Sichuan cuisine, and Korean barbecue, and complements creamy desserts or fruit-forward fare just as effortlessly.
